Just Sew Helen's Blog
Hello & welcome to my blog where I will share an insight into my life, values and behind the scenes of Just Sew Helen.
This blog will show you the topics that inspire my small business including my love of sewing & dressmaking, hand embroidery and my exclusive baby loss & remembrance gifts. Underlying the creation of Just Sew Helen are women's health & pregnancy loss issues.
You can also find me over on Minerva Crafts where I am part of their Blogger Network (MCBN) & you can see more here.
I look forward to sharing my posts - feel free to make any comments.
I'm really pleased to have been accepted on the Minerva Crafts Product Review Team & my first review has been published.
For my first post I am reviewing Unicorn Believer by Sublime Stitching – a lovely little embroidery pattern iron on transfer.
One aim of baby loss awareness week is to bring the topic into the open & encourage more people to talk openly about all forms of pregnancy & infant loss.
I am one of the many who has never talked about my losses, 2 consecutive miscarriages between my first & second child.
I recently received a lovely custom order from a lady who wanted a cushion cover for her daughter who was starting pre-school. The little girl needed a cushion for her afternoon rest periods and the lady wished for some of her drawings to be embroidered on the cushion, ideally in the centre of the pillow.
