I have had the pleasure of sewing with some gorgeous Minerva Exclusive Herbal Halo Sweater Knit Fabric.  The fabric is deceiving as it appears thicker to look at but it is lovely and soft with a smooth inside making it ideal for layering.  It has just enough stetch & drape & holds it’s shape without being too stiff.  There is a natural background with a deep orange and denim blue pattern which is perfect to coordinate with my denim jeans.

I love the drape of viscose challis and this Minerva’s exclusive Viscose Challis Chromatic Fizz is no exception.

I made jeans!  Proper jeans with a metal zipper fly, coin pocket, belt loops & rivets!

I always have difficulty with the fit of trousers & I have made a pair of pull on jeans in the past but I wasn’t 100% happy with the fit. Having made the Olympia dress once before, and being pleased with the result, I was keen to get involved with pattern testing the update.  I made two different styles of dress by changing the fabric type and skirt length.
